Home Study Update

Another month has passed and we have been hard at work with adoption group sessions and our own home study. Tami, our social worker, is a very good fit for us. She has a great sense of humor and is very honest and upfront. The group sessions have been helpful, in that it's nice to have our experiences, thoughts and feelings validated. However, it's been tough to discuss all the potential legal and psychological pitfalls. We look forward to completing this process over the next few weeks and will try to post our "profile" when we have finished it. The profile is essentially a picture album with minimal text that offers a peek into our lives for the birth family. It basically comes down to us selling ourselves! I am super focused on these tasks right now because it is the only thing we have control over. This is the busy time before the waiting begins. :)
